On using the computers during class.

Using a computer during class when not needed, and explicitly stated by the professor is really of no use, and bad for the person doing it, and all around them. You pay good money to attend these classes, and you will benefit from listening to the professor speaking, if you listen to him. I can also tell you that it is very annoying when someone beside you is playing a game, or when something is clicking - the mouse - beside you while you are trying to concentrate. Concentrating is already hard enough due to the language barrier between us and the professor. Also, I am sure he does not get a lot of motivation when he sees us clicking away, instead of listening to him, and also the sound of clicking is probably distracting for him as well. You may think that seeing the slides on your computer helps, but they are on the projector anyhow, so I believe you can view them there. I know the computers are distracting, there is so much more interesting content on the Internet, but, you really should consider listening to the lecture, as you do pay a lot of money for it. I suggest you turn off the monitor, so it does not distract you. All right, enjoy the course, read the book, and off course, don't forget to floss;)
